M2P2

The originality of the M2P2 laboratory resides in its research areas in the fields of Digital fluid mechanics and Process engineering as it was formed by the merger, in 2004, of the MSNM (Mechanical modelling and digital simulation) with the LPPE (Clean processes and environment laboratory).

IUSTI

The IUSTI laboratory is a CNRS-Aix Marseille Université (UMR 7343) joint research unit. The laboratory is focused on engineering sciences around research in mechanics and energy and addresses problems in liaison with a number of applications in the fields of industry, the environment and health.

LMA

The LMA became a CNRS (UMR 7031) joint research unit in 2018 and is supervised by Aix-Marseille Université (AMU), CNRS Ingénierie and the Centrale Méditerranée (School). Its purpose is to provide continuous and fundamental engineering and technology research in its fields of expertise: Acoustics and Solid mechanics.

IRPHE

The IRPHE multidisciplinary institute, UMR 7342, is a joint research unit supervised by Aix-Marseille Université, the CNRS and the Centrale Marseille (School). Its areas of research essentially include fluid mechanics, energy in a broad sense (including combustion and reactive systems), physics of fronts and interfaces, self-organisation of non-equilibrium systems as well as biomechanics and biophysics.

Doctoral school 353 “Engineering sciences: Mechanics, Physics, Micro- and Nanoelectronics” is one of 12 doctoral schools at Aix-Marseille Université (AMU), an establishment that brings together around 3400 PhD students. All of these schools come under the umbrella of the Doctoral College.
