The 2027 French Congress of Mechanics in Marseille
From 23 to 27 August 2027, the 27th French Congress of Mechanics (CFM 2027) will be held on the Saint-Charles campus of Aix-Marseille University. It is organised every two years by the French Mechanics Association (AFM). It is one of the major events for the French mechanics community, bringing together researchers, PhD students and industry representatives to discuss advances in the discipline.
This year’s event is hosted by Aix-Marseille University and the CNRS. Its partners includethe École de l’Air et de l’Espace, Centrale Méditerranée, the École des Arts et Métiers, the CEA,the ASNR and INRAE.
Its theme is : ‘Mechanics at the crossroads of disciplines’.
Young researchers are particularly encouraged to attend. The Paul Germain Prize will be awarded for the best thesis presented at the conference.
